American Political Analysis is always looking for volunteer authors, investigators and contributing writers for our column at http://www.therightpress.com. This would be a non-paid position, however if your a college student we would like to help you earn college credit by working for us. Joining APA as a writer is a great way to make political and media contacts and gain useful experience in the political science or journalism field. Our weekly column generally covers state and national breaking news and articles written about various political and social issues. Rather than posting a few sentences about something in the main stream news; we prefer to add value, in the form of an actual analysis, much more so than your typical daily blog. Our main goal is to educate Americans on the political and social issues of the day.

Current Available Positions:

• Political Analyst: As the backbone of our organization, PA’s will research and write about the theory and practice of political systems and institutions, public administration, political party systems, the development of public opinion, international relations, and relations between government and business. They will plan and direct public opinion surveys and interpret results. Must have good oral and written communication skills.
• Political Correspondent: Our Political Correspondents must have an innate knowledge of what is news on the political scene. This job takes a multi-faceted person that knows what politics is all about, both present and past. Our PC must try to be impartial. Report the news as you get it.
• Investigative Correspondent: Our CIC’s will investigate leads, stories, people, events, companies, and government.
• Social Media Correspondent: SMC’s will use Internet and web-based technologies to transform broadcast media monologues (one to many) into social media dialogues (many to many).
